(MPM-03/01-12/06 shows neither slogan nor format.) WRTH-04: “Radio 13/La Fuerza de la Palabra”  It had been thought, in 2004, when XESS showed up first on 780, then on 620, that XESS-1450 had moved. But a promo heard for “Canal 14-50,” a slogan that had been used by XESS-1450, on XESDD-920 led to speculation this station may still be operating on this frequency, too. It remained difficult to hear in Southern California, but Cantú continued to list “Central 1450” from 2004 to 2007, including a definitive logo. Compiler found a blogsite for radio personality Rosa Linda Valencia, who is cohost of a program, “Labios Rojos” Monday through Friday 0300-0400, on “Central 1450 AM Acir Musicadena Radio.” Googling “Acir Musicadena Radio” brings up a newspaper story from July 2005 for a baseball team, Marineros de Ensenada, whose games were broadcast on “Radio Fiesta 1450 AM de Acir Musicadena Radio” and a website http://www.radio921fm.com for XHBCE-92.1, un eslabón de Acir Musicadena Radio, at Avenida Miramar 973 entre calle 9 y 10 zona centro, Ensenada T: 178-24-89 y 178-28-44. No mention, though, of XESS-1450, at this website. MPM-12-06 lists that address but different phone numbers for XHBCE, and shows representative as SOMER. SOMER website on 2/4/2007 was shown as a “página en construcción,” with no information available. Radio, S.A. has no known website. Radio ACIR website lists neither XESS nor XHBCE Phone number 175-74-48 is listed as contact for “Labios Rojos” program, but compiler does not know if this is a station phone number.
