WRTH-2004-07 Madero No. 274 Poniente (.P. 10) 26200 T: (877) 772-51-21, 772-50-11 F: 772-63-33 N 29-18-20 W 102-49-40 (XEAE-650 500/0)(XEAE-1600 5,000/5,000 ex 1,000/1,000) Compiler, overnighting in Del Río, Texas, in December 2006 found XERCG on 650, identifying as “La Nueva Radio,” with religious programming, on the air before 1200 and after 0600. Full ID gave address as listed in MPM-09/06 for XEAE on 1600. However, there was no local signal on 1600. CIRT reports XERCG on 1600; so does SCT 11/3/2003 list; October 2002 trip to Del Rio, Texas, found neither 650 nor 1600 occupied, on a Sunday; In 2005, compiler, in contact with family member in Del Río via cellphone, during day on a week day, asked for check of car radio on both frequencies; no signals found either frequency. But it was definitely on the air in December 2006, and a Chicago area DX’er has heard otherwise unidentified “La Nueva Radio” on 650. FCC data bas shows XEAE1 on 650 500 watts day, XEAE on 1600, 1,000 watts day and night; XEAE2 on 1600, 5,000 watts day and night. Compiler did not hear power given during station ID.
